Quinta Paradiso

Tucked between the mountains of Sintra and the Atlantic coast, Quinta Paradise is a private estate of rare quietude. Backing onto a national park, with ocean air and almost no horizon in any direction that isn't green, it occupies a corner of Portugal that feels genuinely unhurried.

The tennis court sits at the heart of the property. Maintained to a high standard and framed by natural landscape, it's the kind of court serious players seek out and reluctant ones find themselves returning to. Around it, the estate unfolds at its own pace: a large garden, outdoor dining terrace with BBQ, two fireplaces for cooler evenings, and a pool that catches the afternoon light.

The main house offers four bedrooms across three queen and one king configuration, four bathrooms, and flexible sleeping arrangements for children or additional guests. A fully self-contained guest house sits separately on the grounds, with its own kitchen, dining space, and sleeping quarters, giving larger groups a natural rhythm of togetherness and retreat.

Housekeeping runs five days a week. Chefs, surf lessons, and curated local experiences can be arranged on request. The village is a five-minute walk. Guincho beach, one of the finest stretches of Atlantic coastline in Europe, is seven minutes by car.
