LA: Racquet Culture & Dream Homes
Culture, Courts, and Community
Some trips leave a lasting mark. Our journey through LA Racquet Culture and Dream Homes was exactly that. Sunshine, tennis, and a feeling of community all wrapped into one unforgettable week.
We kicked things off by stepping into Racquet Magazine’s Racquet House LA event, held at the beautiful home of famed LA restaurateurs Hans and Patti Röckenwagner. Their stunning property featured its own tennis court, setting the perfect tone. The event celebrated the launch of Issue No.26, with Taylor Fritz gracing the cover. However, it was more than just a party.
It was a gathering full of heart, where tennis, art, and purpose came together. The event supported Out Of The Fire, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring control, comfort, and community to families displaced by the LA fires.
Being there, meeting people who share the same love for the game and for giving back, reminded us why we started Tennis Homes in the first place. After all, tennis is always bigger than the sport.
Discovering Tennis Dreams in Bel Air
In between rallies and conversations, we found ourselves visiting one of the most stunning tennis homes we have seen yet. Set high above Bel Air, FRAME is an architectural dream home. It is a place where design, nature, and sport come together effortlessly.
While there, we crossed paths with Damaso Lara from The Advisory team at Carolwood Real Estate. He represents the property and shares the same love for tennis. He kindly gave us a tour and even stayed to rally a few balls with us on the private court.
Every corner of FRAME felt thoughtfully designed. If we had to pick a favorite spot besides the court, it would be the guest house tucked just below. Think of it as a true sanctuary for the tennis lifestyle, complete with a fully equipped gym, a sauna, and a welcoming space to host friends, players, and dreamers alike.
It is no surprise that this home spent very little time on the market, closing at $17,800,000. We can only imagine the new owner’s life here. Hopefully, it is filled with endless matches and sunny mornings.
Luckily, we had the chance to bring a piece of it back with us…
